The focus of the paper is on effectiveness a functionalization process with natural polyphenols chemically treated and bioactive Ti6Al4V alloy, grafting mechanism, redox/scavenging activity grafted biomolecules. Polyphenols (phenolic acids, flavonoids, condensed tannins) are extracted from organic red grape pomace. performed at pH = 7.4 addition calcium ions, which act as bridge between substrate polyphenols. presence, amount (semi-quantitative), distribution, release, type bonding to surface have been assessed. functionalized samples homogeneous distribution continuous layer micro-sized agglomerates. maintain redox chemical radical scavenging ability.
